Cold air will dive southward across the central U.S. and advance
across the East on Wednesday. The fresh cold will unleash a new round of
lake-effect snow downwind of the Great Lakes. Showers are expected to
dot South Florida. Meanwhile, a storm will unleash rain over
California and heavy snow from the Sierra Nevada to the Rockies.
