The Olde Thyme Homespun Shoppe recently changed ownership.
When Laura Yoder, who owned the business for 12 years, put the shop up for sale, sisters Mary and Elsie Raber jumped at the chance to own and operate the small craft shop.
In past years, Yoder was an employee of E&E Woodcrafts, owned by the Raber sisters' father, before venturing out and starting her own business.
"We really feel blessed that we have this opportunity to take on a business that Laura worked so hard to start up," Mary Raber said. "Thanks to our many loyal customers we have had a great summer and fall season."
Olde Thyme Homespun Shoppe is located on Main Street in Berlin beside Java Jo Coffee Bar. The two-story store is filled with all kinds of home decor, useful kitchen items and garden accessories. Also available are Swan Creek candles, Donna Sharp handbags and rag rugs in all sizes. Exciting new products for spring will include a full line of miniature garden plants and items.
