Jesse Hickman led the Pledge of Allegiance and Katelyn McClure led the 4-H pledge when Nashville Jolly Farmers 4-H Club met July 3 at the United Methodist Church. The club decided to do the Buckeye Deli Pizza Fundraiser.
Demonstrations were by Kordell Myers, on how to play trombone; Tommy Myers, how to make slime; Cassidy Hawkins, how to prepare icing bags; Keith Hawkins, how to fill frosting bags; and Haylie Hawkins, how to frost cupcakes. After the meeting, Sarah Irwin led charades for recreation.
Upcoming events include: July 30, recreation night at Whispering Hills; Lifeskills judging, July 18; Livestock judging, July 20; goat clinic, July 11; rabbit tattooing, July 21. The next meeting will be July 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Nashville United Methodist Church.
