Bob Reining photo HEAVY EQUIPMENT -- Precision Geophysical was photographed as it rolled through Apple Creek on U.S. Route 250 on Monday morning. The Millersburg business is performing a survey in search of oil and natural gas, primarily in the Utica Formation, running a line that started in Western Wayne County via U.S. Route 250-U.S. Route 30 and continues about 115 miles to the east extending into West Virginia. This is one of the largest surveys ever conducted in the State of Ohio mapping the Utica formation. Every effort is being made to limit the impact of the heavy equipment as it passes through towns and to keep traffic flowing as fast as safely possible. Precision Geophysical management expresses appreciation to all courteous drivers in the area.
