For quality service for less, Timber Wolff's Plumbing & Services has a goal of providing plumbing services for area residents.

In addition to offering a full range of quality, green and economical plumbing services -- everything from installing and repairing water heaters, water lines, sewer drains to the replacement and repair of sewer mains and leaky faucets -- Timber Wolff's also offers special discounts and financial assistance for eligible customers.

"What sets me apart is that I try to help people," said owner Timber Wolff, who recently started the company with a goal to get plumbing services to people who need them.

With more than 10 years of plumbing experience and three years working in the Holmes County area, the Alaska native saw a need for providing plumbing services at little or no cost to those who are truly in need.

"I found out that nobody in Ohio does this," said Wolff. "I saw so many people who needed the help and couldn't get it, so I decided to start out on my own and help the economy out around here by getting help to people who really need it.

"I'm willing to work with people. If they can't afford it, I will try to figure out a way that they can," he said.

Wolff offers discounts of up to 40 percent, even for those who don't qualify for financial assistance, and works with two nonprofit organizations to fund projects for people in need.

One of these non-profit organizations, Wolff's Extended Paw, has a goal to help fund a plumbing revolution in rural Appalachia, seeking to give people hope, dignity and clean water regardless of their financial situation.

So far, this fund has raised $2,413.

Wolff also works with Empowerment Works, takes donations and seeks out government grants to provide these services to people.

"The donations all go into a separate account to just help people," explained Wolff.

Locally, people can help Wolff in providing these plumbing services for area residents who need financial assistance -- through donations or simply by using Timber Wolff's Plumbing for their plumbing needs.

For those who don't need financial assistance, any additional business will allow Timber Wolff's to give assistance to those who do.

"We've been able to help a few people already, with a lot more hopefully coming," he said. "I'm trying to help people who don't have the money to pay for a lot of plumbing. Here I am getting started."

For everyone -- those who need financial assistance and those who do not -- Timber Wolff's Plumbing offers quality service at low prices, said Wolff.

"I do a good job and give people very good prices," he said, adding so far most of his business has come from word of mouth recommendations.

In addition to its low prices, the company offers 24-hour emergency service for anyone who needs it and service is not limited to any certain area.

By summer 2013, Wolff plans to begin hiring employees.

"We will be hiring people in the area, especially people with disabilities," said Wolff, who wants to help the community in more ways than one.
