Pomerene Hospital has made several changes to its Community Outreach Health and Wellness Screenings for 2013.
Screenings will be held at the following locations only in 2013: Mount Hope Methodist Church, first Wednesday of every month, 7 a.m.-11 a.m.;
Keim Lumber, third Wednesday of every month, 7 a.m.-11 a.m.
Screenings will be offered in two tiers. Tier 1 will require no doctor's order and tier 2 will require a doctor's order. Tier 1 screenings include blood sugar, lipid panel (cholesterol), PSA (prostate cancer), hemoglobin A1C, thyroid panel and liver panel. Pricing will remain the same as the 2012 screenings.
Tier 2 screenings, which require a doctor's order, are CBC and CMP testing.
