West Holmes clinched a share of its seventh straight Ohio Cardinal Conference title last Saturday and ninth OCC title in the past 10 years. With the win, the Knights moved to 16-4 overall and 12-1 in the conference.
West Holmes 40, Mansfield 28
Sammie Hall led West Holmes with 14 points, eight rebounds and three blocks, and Kacie Leppla finished with 12 points and eight boards. Kylie Leppla chipped in eight points.
Hiland 92, Strasburg 19
Entering play top-ranked in the Div. IV AP Poll, Hiland continued to steamroll the Inter-Valley Conference as Angela Troyer joined Kennedy Schlabach as a 1,000-point career scorer. Troyer became the 12th player in Hawks history to achieve the feat and finished with 15 points, four boards and four assists.
Morgan McMillen led Hiland with 16 points, five rebounds and four assists, and Schlabach finished with 10 points and eight assists. Sara Keim chipped in 11 points, while Tiffany Weaver and Jessica Troyer had 10 points each to give the Hawks six double-digit scorers.

West Holmes 53, Ashland 33
West Holmes reduced the magic number to one with yet another lopsided Ohio Cardinal Conference win, this time over Ashland. The Knights were led by their tough defense and some lights-out shooting from Taylor Yerian, who was 3 for 3 from long range to finish with nine points and three assists.
Pacing West Holmes (13-4, 11-1 OCC) was Kacie Leppla with 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Sammie Hall finished with 12 points, four boards and three steals.
Wednesday, Feb. 1
Hiland 63, Malvern 44
Hiland's Kennedy Schlabach led all scorers with 23 points as the top-ranked Hawks defeated the Hornets in Malvern.
Morgan McMillen had 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Hawks, now 18-1 overall and 13-0 in the IVC, while Angela Troyer and Sara Keim each scored 10.
