Fifth-graders welcome at music meeting
The West Holmes music department will be holding a parent meeting for all fifth grade students and their parents interested in fifth grade band. The purpose of the meeting is to explain the details of this year's band and it's return to the West Holmes Elementary Schools.
The meeting is Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. in the high school theatre. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Brian Dodd at West Holmes High School at 330-674-6085.
Youth with disabilities can be evaluated
In an effort to serve young people with disabilities, school districts are in the process of locating and evaluating children from birth-21 years of age. Disabilities may include developmental delays, health impairments, autism and traumatic brain injury.
Individuals may contact districts about children who may have a disability and may be eligible for special education services. Superintendents have information available.
