Eli B. Miller, 89, 5803 County Road 19, Millersburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at his residence.
He was born May 24, 1923, in Holmes County to the late Benjamin A. and Sarah (Miller) Miller, and was a retired cabinet maker. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mattie L. (Raber) Miller, whom he married Dec. 3, 1944; sons and daughters, Levi (Clara) Miller of Shreve, Henry (Iva) Miller of the home, Noah (Ada) Miller and Melvin (Barbara) Miller, both of Millersburg, Elizabeth and Fannie Miller, both of the home, Sarah Ann (Roman) Yoder of Big Prairie, Amanda Erb (Lester, deceased) of Millersburg, Esther (John) Miller of Fresno; 40 grandchildren; 106 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; 28 step-grandchildren; many step-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Abe B. (Anna) Miller of Millersburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sons-in-law; two brothers; and a sister.
Services were held Friday, Nov. 23 at the residence, with Bishop Henry Stutzman officiating. Burial was in the Stutzman Cemetery, Mechanic Township, Holmes County.
Arrangements were handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
