Willard J. Miller, 68, West Salem, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Shady Lawn Health Care Community in Dalton, after a period of declining health.
He was born near Berlin on May 29, 1944, to the late Joe D. and Katie Ann (Beachy) Miller and married Miriam M. Yutzy on March 15, 1985. She survives.
He was a retired salesman and a member of Anchor of Hope Mennonite Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and racing homing pigeons.
Surviving in addition to his wife are sons Kim, Ken and Kyl Miller, all of the home; his twin sister, Wilma (Pete) Weaver of Sarasota, Fla.; and brothers and sisters David (Martha) Miller of Uniontown, Sarah Ann Miller of Sarasota, Fla., Ada Kay (Terry) Bontrager of Wellington, Iowa, Joseph Jr. (Julia) Miller of Berlin and Edward (Cheryl) Miller of Jeromesville.
Funeral services are today (Thursday, Nov. 29) at East Union Mennonite Church, with pastor Mike Schlabach officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.
