Donald G. Beam, 56, Holmesville, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at his home after a sudden illness.
Don was born Sept. 22, 1956, in Wooster, the son of Donald D. and Catherine (Rothermel) Beam and married Miriam Miller on March 16, 1989. She survives.
He was a 1975 graduate of Waynedale High School and was self-employed having established Stucker Meadow in 1993, which he loved very much. He enjoyed nature and watching wrestling.
Surviving are his wife, Miriam; children Jacob (Kaley) Beam of Ashland, Jonathan, Elizabeth and Zebulun Beam, all of the home; a granddaughter, Ava; his father, Donald Beam of Wooster; a brother, Rick (Patty) Davis of Ashland, Ore.; and a sister, Joan (Mike) Clark of Shreve.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and a brother, Scott.
Memorial services were Wednesday, Jan. 9 at Bethany Mennonite Church, Holmesville, with Eli Hilty officiating.
Arrangements were handled by Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.
