Mary Yoder, 85, Fresno

Mary M. Yoder, 85, 33419 County Road 10, Fresno, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at 4:30 a.m. at her home.

She was born May 19, 1927, in Holmes County to the late Mose J.S. and Katie (Troyer) Yoder, and married Mose M. Yoder. He preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Lizzie (Andy Ray) Miller of the home; sons, Henry (Katie) Yoder of Millersburg, Jonas (Mary) Yoder of Baltic, Raymond (Katie Ann) Yoder, Aden (Barbara) Yoder and Junior (Katie) Yoder, all of Fresno, Vernon (Mabel) Yoder of Baltic, David (Mary) Yoder of Fresno and Robert (Miriam) Yoder of Sugarcreek; 60 grandchildren; 129 great-grandchildren; a sister, Emma Hochstetler of Holmesville; and a brother, Joe M. Yoder of Sugarcreek.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mattie and Lizzie; brothers, Phineas and Abe; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Services were Friday, Jan. 4 at the Yoder residence, with Bishop Dan R. Erb officiating. Burial was in the Yoder Cemetery, Coshocton County.

Arrangements were handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
