James Booth, formerly of Rittman, and a longtime resident of the Jefferson Community, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Heritage Court in Hilliard.
He was the brother of Walter Booth of Killbuck.
James was the son of the late Wallace Eugene and Ida Mae Pyles Booth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Mae Thweatt Booth.
He was a machinist with Ohio Blue Tip Matches and was a member of Mount View The Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his brother, are a daughter, Pam (Jerry) Adkins of Galloway, and sons, Frank (Joan) Booth of Oxford, Mich., and Mike Booth and Joyce of London; special dad to Dale Booth of Medina; grandchildren, Lori (Billy) DeLong, Julie (Ryan) Jagoda, Joseph Booth, Courtney (Jessie) Fawcet, Jeremy (Erica) Adkins, Katie (Bill) Durham, Suzanne Jones, Christy Morrow, Jamie Booth, Jody Booth, Josh and Jason Satterfield; great-grandchildren, Ashley Rarrick, Timmy DeLong, Anna Jagoda, Jason Jagoda, James Fawcet, Loraine Durham; a sister-in-law, Wilma Judkins of Smithville, Tenn.; a brother-in-law, Tommy Judkins of Smithville, Tenn.
Funeral services were Thursday, Jan. 31 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, Tenn., with Brother Michael Hale officiating. Burial was in Jefferson Cemetery in Tennessee.
