Thomas Bender, 76, Millersburg

Thomas Bender, 76, Millersburg, passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Pomerene Hospital, Millersburg, after an extended illness.

Graveside services were Wednesday, Feb. 20 in Grandview Union Cemetery, Strasburg, with Gerald Craycraft officiating. Arrangements were handled by Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg.

He was born Oct. 3, 1936, in Canton, the son of George and Ina (Hartline) Bender, and was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School. He was a resident of Sycamore Run for 14 years and had attended the Holmes County Training Center for many years. Tom enjoyed playing the piano.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
