MILLERSBURG -- Thomas D. "Tom" Money, 78, Millersburg, passed away Saturday afternoon, Dec. 17, 2016, at Pomerene Hospital, Millersburg, surrounded by family, following an extended illness.
He was born July 12, 1938, in Killbuck, the son of John and Vivian (Frazier) Money, and on Oct. 21, 1961, married Donna Mohr. She survives.
Tom was a 1957 graduate of Millersburg High School, and was a truck driver most of his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was a member of Millersburg Christian Church, where he was baptized, Millersburg American Legion, and was a life member of Killbuck VFW. He enjoyed golfing and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 55 years, are a daughter, Becki (Byron) Voltz of Millersburg; grandchildren, Chris (Kim) Young, Brandon (Jen) Young, Cory Voltz and Abby (Ranny) Sage; nine great-grandchildren; his mother, Vivian Money of Millersburg; brothers, Jon (Kay) Money of Stow and Ted (Susan) Money of Millersburg; a sister-in-law, Dema Money of Millersburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and his special dog, named Lady.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Bob Money.
Funeral services were Thursday, Dec. 22 at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with Phil Money officiating. Burial was in Killbuck Cemetery.
