MILLERSBURG -- Jim Madison, 57, of Millersburg passed away Saturday morning, January 21, 2017 at Akron General Hospital, Akron.
Jim was born August 28, 1959 in Millersburg and was the son of Russell and Lydia (Patterson) Madison. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy.
Jim loved to attend his grandkids' sporting events and cook breakfast with them first thing in the morning. Also, he loved visiting Warther's Museum with the grandkids. Surviving are two children, Shane Madison of Marysville and Janelle (Chataan)Turner of Columbus; four grandchildren, Ciera Madison, Dayne Madison, Mason Turner and Carter Turner; his mother, Lydia Madison, of Millersburg; and four siblings, Debbie (Mike) Bullock of Millersburg, David (Hallie) Madison of Millersburg, Richard (Heidi) Madison of Boyceville, Wis., and Chuck (Paula) Madison of Reynoldsburg.
He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Madison.
Funeral services were held Thursday. Jan. 26 at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg. Burial took place at Blissfield Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Killbuck VFW and the Millersburg American Legion.
