WEST LAFAYETTE -- Sandra S. "Sandy" Klotz, 74, of West Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly at her Florida home on Sunday Jan. 1, 2017.
Sandy, known as "Cookie" to her family and friends growing up, was born in Glenmont on Oct. 4, 1942, to the late Robert and Eva Elizabeth (Wilson) Snyder. She graduated from Millersburg High School and married Albert "Al" Klotz on Aug. 15, 1965. He preceded her in death on Oct. 25, 2006.
She was a member of Central Christian Church in Coshocton, and in her early years was an avid bowler, but her true hobbies were reading, crocheting and going to several craft shows a year. She had already had many scheduled for this fall.
Sandy's laugh was contagious and you couldn't help but to laugh with her. She was so loved by her great-grandchildren. They would run into her arms every time they saw her.

(Amanda) Jones and Tammie (Matt) Hanna; great-grandchildren, Jameson Parker Hanna and Emmarie Hanna; a sister, Connie (Keith) Mellor; brothers, Gary (Karen) Snyder, David (Lou) Snyder, Mike (Linda) Snyder, Lynn (Sandy) Snyder and Richard Snyder; a sister-in-law, Shirley Klotz; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Steven and Mark Klotz; her parents; a brother, Bobby Snyder; and a brother-in-law, Norman Klotz.
