Sue Ellison

1959-2017

SHREVE -- Sue Ellison, 57, of Shreve, passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, at LifeCare Hospice of Wooster, after a courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

She was born Sept 28, 1959, in Millersburg, the daughter of Robert and Norma Cline, and on May 2, 1981, married her husband of 35 years, Mark Ellison.

Sue was a 1978 graduate of Wooster High School and the Wayne County Schools Career Center. She worked for The Wooster Brush Company for 30 years, where she had many dear friends. Sue was known for her joyful personality and radiant smile.

Surviving in addition to her husband and parents, are children, Chad Ellison of Seattle, Wash., and Morgan (Adam) Stein of Wooster; grandchildren, Gabriella Reese, Halle Joy and Anna Claire, all of Wooster; siblings, Steve Cline of Akron, Sheryl (Jim) Smith, Sid (Cheryl) Cline and Stan Cline, all of Wooster; and several nieces and nephews.

It was Sue's desire to help further medical research by donating her body to science, followed by cremation. A celebration of life open house was held Tuesday, Jan. 10 at Wooster Church of the Nazarene, 3100 Oak Hill Road, Wooster.

The family would like to thank the many people who supported Sue and them during this journey.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in her name to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Road, Wooster 44691; or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 5700 Brecksville Road, 3rd Floor, Independence 44131.
