FREDERICKSBURG -- Timothy Joseph Hosfeld, 59, of Fredericksburg, passed away Monday evening, Feb. 6, 2017, at LifeCare Hospice, Wooster, after a courageous battle with dementia.
He was born March 19, 1957, in Massillon to Bernard and Lottie J. (Bissett) Hosfeld and was a 1975 graduate of Waynedale High School. Tim had worked for more than 30 years at the J.M. Smucker Co. in Orrville.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, and was an avid racing fan, having been involved with Wayne County Speedway. He had sponsored numerous cars under the sponsor name of "Hoss Peanut Farm." Tim loved animals, kids and music and wasn't afraid to turn it up. He was the kind of person you could always lean on for help and will be missed and loved by many.
Surviving are his mother, Lottie Hosfeld; a sister, Cindy Arnette and her friend, Dave Steele of Fredericksburg; nephews, Bradly (Erica) Arnette and Brett (Becky) Arnette; and great-nephews and a great-niece, Alexis, Cohen, Brantley and Brenton.
He was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Bernard Hosfeld in 2015; and his grandparents.

Private family services took place with Father Stephen Moran officiating, followed by burial in St. Mary Church Cemetery.
