FREDERICKSBURG -- Nevin A. Hershberger, 62, 10011 Kidron Road, Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017.
He was born in Wayne County on July 27, 1954, to the late Andy E. and Elizabeth (Hostetler) Hershberger, and married Rosie N. Troyer on Dec. 9, 1982. She survives.
He was employed by Brewster Dairy for 45 years and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Allen (Esther) Hershberger of Holmesville, Christina (Firman) Mast of Fredericksburg, Robert (Naomi) Hershberger of Millersburg, Wilma Hershberger and Mark Hershberger, both of the home; grandchildren, Rosie and Marion Hershberger, Debra, Sharon and Micah Mast, Kyle Aundre Hershberger; brothers and sisters, Ray Hershberger and Irene (Pete) Weaver, both of Fredericksburg, Junior (Betty) Hershberger, Mable (Simon) Yoder and Vernon (Barbara) Hershberger, all of Apple Creek, Mary (Jim) Miller of Wooster and Owen (Amanda) Hershberger of Millersburg; his mother- and father-in-law, Noah J. and Anna N. (Miller) Troyer of Baltic; sisters-in-law, Mary Hershberger of Fredericksburg, Mandy Hershberger of Maysville and Betty Hershberger of Middlefield.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Steven; brothers, Paul, Ervin and Atlee Hershberger; and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Hershberger.
Funeral services were Friday, March 3, 2017, at 9 a.m. at the family residence with Bishop Mose A. Miller officiating. Burial was in the Hershberger Family Cemetery, Paint Township, Wayne County. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton handled arrangements.
