Albert Troyer

FREDERICKSBURG -- Albert M. Troyer, 89, 11323 Salt Creek Road, Fredericksburg, passed away on Thursday March 16, 2017, at the Andy Troyer residence.

He was born Jan. 20, 1928, near Mount Hope to Mose D. and Alta (Kuhns) Troyer, and married Katie J. Troyer on Feb. 21, 1957. She survives.

He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are his sons, Levi (Betty Ann) Troyer of Holmesville and Raymond (Esta) Troyer of Millersburg; daughters, Mary (Andy) Troyer of Fredericksburg and Laura (Daniel) Miller of the home; 26 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Troyer of Milroy, Ind.; sisters, Susie Miller of Millersburg and Anna Troyer of Holmesville; and sisters-in-law, Emma Troyer and Laura Troyer of Mount Hope.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Levi and David Troyer; and brothers-in-law, Dan Miller and Ben Toyer.

Funeral services were Sunday, March 19, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. at the residence, with Bishop Eddie R. Hershberger officiating. Burial was in Miller Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Holmes County. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton handled arrangements.
