MILLERSBURG -- Betty L. Kline, 78, of Millersburg, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Saint Ann's Hospital, Columbus, after an extended illness.
Funeral services were Sunday, March 5, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg. Burial was in Nashville Cemetery. Friends called Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home. Those wishing to share a memory or make online condolences may do so by visiting www.alexanderfhinc.com.

She was born Sept. 26, 1938, in Knox County, the daughter of Joseph and Cleo (Fown) Hutton Sr., and married Walter Edward Kline Sr. He preceded her in death on Jan. 31, 1989.
Betty retired from Sunset View Castle Nursing Home after working 36 years as a nurse's assistant. She was baptized at Glenmont Church of Christ, and enjoyed playing cards and shopping. She loved spending time with her family, and her grandchildren were the highlight of her life. Meme was her favorite word.
Surviving are her children, Julie (David) Ramsey of Mount Vernon, Karen Lee Harris-Kline of Loudonville and Herbie Kline of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Jack (Tiffany) Harris, Karrie Harris, Jackie Harris, John (Sarah) Ramsey, Joseph Ramsey, Catherine (Eli) Brown, Jesse Ramsey, Jordan Ramsey, Bobby Kline, Rachel (Chad) Campbell, Rebecca (Jonathan) Beachy and Kevin Kline; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dixie Wilcox of Mansfield, Nellie Cramer of Fredericktown and Josephine Clispe of Washington State; a sister-in-law, Nellie Phillips of Dover; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and sons, Lenard Louis Kline, Walter Edward Kline Jr. and Ronald Edward Kline.
