Linda worked 10 years at Addressograph Multigraph and was a homemaker. She was a member of Welcome Church of Christ, and enjoyed gardening, reading, spending time with her family and was an amazing cook. Lots of the family requested her homemade noodles, caramels, pies, ice cream and fried chicken, only a few of the many wonderful things that she made.
Her family meant the world to her and for the last 40 years she hosted the annual July 4 Martin family reunion at her home. It was something she looked forward to every year. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all.
Surviving are her children, Becky (Kyle) Snyder, Krista (Mike) Shank and Derek Spurgeon, all of Millersburg, Stephanie Gates of Rainbow City, Ala., Ann (Don) Helms and Kirk (Crystal) Spurgeon, both of Florida; grandchildren, Julia (Tyler) Patterson, Olivia and Colton, Jamie, Megan and Alex, Jake and Ally, Mindy, Allisa and Trey; a brother, Robert (Jessie) Martin of Millersburg; a sister, Phyllis Moore of Millersburg; sisters-in-law, Sue Martin, Bonnie Martin, Cathy Martin and Grace Tedrow, all of Millersburg; and a brother-in-law, Robert (Doris) Spurgeon of Killbuck.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kim Spurgeon; sisters, Jean (Earl) Frederick, Faye Holderbaum, Helen "Tilt" Sorensen and Georgieanna Conner; and brothers, Darwin "Pete" Martin, Marion "Tink" Martin and Marvin Martin.
The family would like to thank Dr. Trehan, Dr. Latouf, Dr. Omran and the staff at LifeCare Hospice for all of their care.
