MILLERSBURG -- Katie Ellen Miller, 77, of Millersburg, died Saturday, March 25, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family and friends after a courageous eight-year battle with cancer.
She was born June 22, 1939, in Millersburg to Alfred E. and Sarah (ne Miller) Stutzman and was a diabetic for 67 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Sharon Mennonite Church in Sugarcreek.
She is survived by her husband, Mose J. Miller, whom she married Oct. 27, 1960; daughters, Karen (David) Shetler of Fresno and Laura (Dennis) Miller of Sugarcreek; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Anna (John) Hochstetler of Millersburg and Ella (Marvin) Shoup of Dundee; and brothers, John Henry (Mattie) Stutzman of Benton and Dan (Martha) Stutzman of Berlin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Fannie Yoder; and brother-in-law, Atlee Yoder; nephew, Mark Stutzman; and nieces, Wanda Yoder and Deb Troyer.
Services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Sharon Mennonite Church, with Pastor Ed Yoder officiating. Burial followed in Union Hill Cemetery.
