SUGARCREEK -- Joe N. Miller, 83, of Sugarcreek, died Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Union Hospital following a brief illness.

He was born Feb. 16, 1934, in Holmes County to Noah D. and Elizabeth (ne Stutzman) Miller. He was retired from the former Ohio Whey Products in Sugarcreek and was a member of Walnut Creek Mennonite Church. Joe was an avid bowler and was inducted into the Dover-New Philadelphia Bowlers Association Hall of Fame in 1980.

He is survived by sister, Susie Miller of Mount Hope; brother, Vernon (Elva) Miller of Sugarcreek; sisters-in-law, Laura Miller and Clara Miller, both of Sugarcreek; 13 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Harry and Melvin Miller; a sister, Mary Ann Miller; niece, Lucy Ann; and nephew, Vernon.

Services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Walnut Creek Mennonite Church, with Pastor Don Hamsher officiating. Burial followed in East Lawn Cemetery in Sugarcreek.
