WARSAW -- Marilyn Eleanor Krownapple, 68, died Sunday, April 30, 2017 at her home.
She was born Sept. 7, 1948 in Burbank to the late Paul W. and Mary J. (Miller) Sampsel. She was a big fan of "Jamboree in the Hills," which she attended with her husband for 20 years. She enjoyed camping, mushroom hunting (but mainly eating them), playing cards, finding yard sales and mostly hanging out with her grandkids.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, John J. Krownapple of Warsaw; children, John Joseph (Kim) Krownapple and Tracy Byland, both of Warsaw, James (Jacqui) Krownapple of Clark and Raymond (Andrea) Krownapple of Killbuck; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, plus one expected; brothers, Fred (Becky) Sampsel of Blissfield and Gerald "Butch" Sampsel of Wooster; a sister, Judy Mizer of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, five brothers and a sister.
Marilyn's family would like to give special thanks to the caring staff of Health Services of Coshocton and Community Hospice of Coshocton County, for everything they did for her.
Memorial services were Thursday, May 4, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Pastor Ron Davis officiated. Burial was in Spring Mountain Cemetery (www.fischerfuneralhome.com).
A Celebration of Life was at Miley Community Center, 1332 State Route 83 in Clark, on Thursday, May 4, 2017, form 5-8 p.m.
