DALTON -- Velma Mae Geiser, 71, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday morning, May 23, 2017, at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
Velma was born Sept. 11, 1945, in Orrville, to Willis and Bertha (Eberly) Good and graduated from Dalton High School in 1962. She married Gerald Geiser on May 26, 1968, in Dalton, and lived all her life in the Dalton/Orrville area. He survives.
She accepted Christ as her Savior in her youth and was a member of Immanuel Christian Fellowship.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are; children, Melanie (Lester) Fox of Shiloh, Brian (Rita) Geiser of Lakeville, Renee Geiser, of Dalton, Sheryl (Stephen) Martin of Woodbury, Tenn., Harley (Janice) Geiser and Janice (Allen) Kuhns, both of Wagener, S.C., and Valerie (Steve) Weaver of Orrville; 21 grandchildren; a brother, Marvin; and sisters, Esther, Arlene, Ruth, Dorothy, Anna Lois and Carolyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Luella.
Services were Friday, May 26, 2017, at 10 a.m. at East Union Mennonite Church, 10678 Old Lincoln Way, Orrville, with ministers of the church officiating. Burial was in Immanuel Christian Fellowship Cemetery.
