WOOSTER -- Eura O. Shrock, 87, of Wooster passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Defiance County on Oct. 22, 1929, to the late Owen and Malinda (Yoder) Shrock and married Katie Miller on April 28, 1952. She survives.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Son Light Chapel near Maysville.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Levi (Katie Ann) Shrock of Shreve, Edna, Carol and Doris Shrock, all of Wooster, and Ruby Shrock of the home; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Viola Miller of Fredericksburg and Irene (Eli) Miller of Brandywine, W.Va.; foster sisters, Susie Mast of Harrisonburg, Va., Arlene Schlabach of West Liberty and Ida Cooper of Wooster.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ada Troyer; and brothers, Enos and Leon Shrock.
Funeral services were Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Son Light Chapel near Maysville with Pastor Ray Shaum officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Friends called on Tuesday, June 13, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Son Light Chapel. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton handled the arrangements.
