Revival meetings planned

Are you hungry for spiritual food? Be refreshed and filled, by the work and power of the Holy Spirit through Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. nightly at Living Hope Outreach, 381 S. Mad Anthony St. (non-denominational). There will be services of testimony, praise and a message from God's word each evening. Worship music will be by Latter Rain from Lancaster, Pa.

Community Thanksgiving Meal set

The fourth annual Baltic Community Thanksgiving Meal will be on Saturday, Nov. 17 between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Baltic Elementary School. Traditional turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, cranberry salad, rolls and dessert will be the menu for this holiday meal.

Carry-outs are available and some local delivery is possible. Call 330-897-6855 and leave name and address if you need delivery.

The meal is free; however if you would like to give, food donations will go to the Homeless Shelter of Tuscarawas County and monetary donations will go to Pirate Power Packs to help give food to Baltic students on the weekends.

Community Feast planned

Millersburg Church of Christ will hold its annual Community Feast on Saturday, Nov. 17, from 4-6 p.m. This is a free Thanksgiving dinner, including turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, corn, dinner roll and pumpkin pie. Register for Community Thanksgiving Dinner

On Thursday, Nov. 22, Ripley Church of Christ will be serving a Community Thanksgiving Dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. The Thanksgiving meal is for families who are not able to provide a holiday meal. The church members will prepare and serve the meal at Ripley Church of Christ, which is located at 12298 County Road 330, Big Prairie, just west of the intersection of state Route 514 and County Road 330 in Holmes County.

"This is an opportunity for us to share Christ with our community," explained Gary Cline, one of the leaders of the Benevolence Ministry at Ripley Church of Christ. "Our congregation wishes to serve others during these difficult economic times by serving a Thanksgiving meal."

"We understand that many families in our community are not able to provide a Thanksgiving meal for their family to enjoy," said Jeremiah Stivers, associate minister at Ripley Church of Christ. "This free event is open to the public. We take seriously our mission statement, which says Connect with Christ, Connect in Community, and Connect in Caring."

Crafters needed

Crafters are needed for Christmas Craft Show to be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at St. John's Church in Millersburg. Please contact Sue Dye at 330-378-3321 for the information packet on setting up your crafts.

Candlelight Church Walk is Dec. 14

The Millersburg Candlelight Church Walk will be held Friday, Dec. 14, 6-8 p.m. Tour six churches and enjoy music, decorations, historic information and light refreshments at each stop.

Complete the evening by returning to Millersburg Mennonite Church at 8:15 p.m. for a time of special music. Maps are available at any of the participating churches in downtown Millersburg.

Churches to be toured are Millersburg Christian, First Presbyterian, Faith Lutheran, St. Peter's Catholic, Millersburg Mennonite and Grace Pointe Community Church.

Join trip to Israel

Donations needed

Donations are needed to help troubled boys. The Trading Post Thrift Store has recently opened at 7703-B state Route 241, just west of Mount Hope.

All proceeds will go to support the Ohio Wilderness Boys Camp. Donations can be taken to the store or dropped off at Ray Shaum's located at 2678 S. Kohler Road, Orrville. Call 330-857-5516 or 330-464-1261 for more information.
