Holmes Christian Women to meet

Pancake supper to benefit youth
HOLMESVILLE -- Holmesville United Methodist Church, 317 E. Main St., will hold a pancake supper Wednesday, April 5, from 5-7 p.m. Menu is all you care to eat pancakes and more, by donation. Proceeds benefit the church's youth group to attend Annual Conference at Lakeside.
Wilmot church hosting Easter drama
Berean Community Church in Wilmot is presenting an Easter drama at 6 p.m. Friday, April 14, and Saturday, April 15. Chili cookoff, potato bar is April 8
SHREVE -- Hopewell Presbyterian Church, 6900 State Route 754, Shreve, will hold its annual Potato Bar and a Chili Cookoff Saturday, April 8, from 5-7 p.m. Menu includes potatoes and toppings plus salads, homemade desserts and homemade ice cream. Sponsored by Hopewell trustees to benefit the church, dinner is by donation.
Seven Scenes of Passion in Berlin
BERLIN -- The Seven Scenes of The Passion will be presented at the United Dayspring Church in Berlin Friday, April 7, 6:30-9 p.m.; Saturday, April 8, 3-8 p.m. and Sunday, April 9, 1-5 p.m. See the seven scenes leading up to and surrounding the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord.
You'll be taken on a guided tour through the bustling streets of Jerusalem and the busy temple courtyard. Witness the sadness and confusion that followed in the Upper Room after His betrayal. Experience a slightly irritated Pilate and a Roman guard admitting it must have been the Messiah they crucified and ultimately, an empty tomb.
