Concert at Wilmot church tonight

Faith Baptist Church in Wilmot is playing host to a concert tonight, April 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. Dinner and desserts will be provided. Entertainment will be from the Singing Weavers, the John Glick Family and Rod Truman. The church is located at 775 W. Main St., Wilmot. For more information, call 330-466-1408.

Spencer to be in concert

MILLERSBURG -- Wade Spencer will be in concert Sunday, April 9, at Living Hope Outreach, 381 S. Mad Anthony St., Millersburg. Servant's Heart, a local country gospel group will sing at 5:30 p.m., followed b y Wade at 6. For more information, Pastor Joe at 330-231-1147.

Mid-week Lenten series continues

NEW PITTSBURG -- St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9451 Ashland Road, Wooster, is holding "I Believe," a midweek Lenten Series, each Wednesday in Lent. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by worship and discussion about the pillars of Christian faith. Adam Hamilton's video series, "Creed: What Christians Believe and Why," is being viewed and reflection is on portions of Luther's Small Catechism. Mid-week Lenten offerings go to Norwayne-Northwestern Religious Education.

Seven Scenes of Passion in Berlin

BERLIN -- The Seven Scenes of The Passion will be presented at the United Dayspring Church in Berlin Saturday, April 8, 3-8 p.m. and Sunday, April 9, 1-5 p.m. See the seven scenes leading up to and surrounding the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord. You'll be taken on a guided tour through the bustling streets of Jerusalem and the busy temple courtyard. Witness the sadness and confusion that followed in the Upper Room after His betrayal. Experience a slightly irritated Pilate and a Roman guard admitting it must have been the Messiah they crucified and ultimately, an empty tomb.

Easter Family Fun Day

WOOSTER -- Come to Wooster United Methodist Church on Easter Sunday, April 16, at 9:45 a.m. for Easter Family Fun Day. Register in Wesley Hall and travel through the church for stories, crafts, games, and a photo booth. Age-appropriate egg hunts will be held throughout the morning. Worship is at 8:45, 11, or 11:07 a.m.

Holy week services begin April 9

WOOSTER -- During Holy Week, April 9 to 16, St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church will contemplate our Lord, his death and his resurrection. Palm Sunday is April 9. Maundy Thursday is April 13 with the service to include Holy Communion. Good Friday is April 14. Evening services begin at 7 p.m. Easter morning, April 16, will include an early service at 7:30 a.m., special breakfast for all being served 8:30-9:15 a.m., and festival worship at 10:00 a.m. Communion will be offered both services. Plan to join us for as many of these special services as you can and invite a friend. For we grow as we focus our attention on what Christ has accomplished for us through his life, death and resurrection!

Catholics Returning Home begins

WOOSTER -- A six-week series, "Catholics Returning Home," will begin Monday, April 17, at 7 p.m. in the Parish Hall at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 527 Beall Ave. An invitation is extended for non-practicing Catholics to attend these informal sessions in a welcoming, non-judgmental atmosphere.
