Week of June 18

HOLMESVILLE -- The United Methodist Church and Church of Christ invite children to Weird Animals: Where Jesus' Love Is One of A Kind community Vacation Bible School. It will be hosted at Holmesville United Methodist Church, 317 E. Main St. from June 19-23. Kids will learn about some of God's most creative creations. They'll participate in Bible learning activities, sing songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into yummy treats, experience Bible adventures, and test out Science-Fun activities. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through God Sightings.

Weird Animals VBS is for kids 4 years of age to those who completed sixth grade and will run from 6-8:15 each evening.

WOOSTER -- Parkview Christian Church, 1912 Burbank Road, Wooster, invites children to Maker Fun Factory VBS: Created by God, Built for a Purpose.

Maker Fun Factory VBS will be hosted at Parkview Christian Church from June 18 to 22. At Maker Fun Factory, kids discover that God made them -- and for a purpose! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God's love and test out sciency-fun gizmos they'll take home and play with all summer long.

Kids at Maker Fun Factory VBS will join a missions effort to fund the digging of effective clean water wells for remote villages in Peru.

Maker Fun Factory is for kids from 3 years old to sixth grade and will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each day. For more information, call 330-262-7756.

Week of June 25

NEW PITTSBURG -- St. Peter Lutheran Church, 9451 Ashland Road, will hold Deep See Discovery VBS June 26-30 from 10 a.m.-noon for children age 3 through sixth grade. Offering will go toward the purchase of clean water. There will be lunch on Friday. For registration, call or email the church office, 330-264-1986, lutheranchurch.stpeter@gmail.com. Pre-register by June 21 so there can be enough materials for each child.

Week of July 9

WOOSTER -- Church of the Cross United Methodist, 5100 Cleveland Road, invites area children to "Hero Central" VBS July 9-13 from 6-8:30 p.m. Discover how to be God's heroes through Bible stories, games, recreation, songs and fellowship. SMITHVILLE -- Operation Arctic! VBS will be held July 10-14 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Smithville United Methodist Church, 243 N. Milton St.It is open to all children going into kindergarten through those have just finished sixth grade. VBS is also sponsored by Smithville Brethren Church. A Narwhal, a Husky, an Arctic Hare and a Polar Bear are looking forward to sharing this exciting adventure with the children and parents.
